DJI AP100 – Parachute for DJI Matrice 400

DJI AP100 Parachute for Matrice 400 is a professional emergency recovery system designed exclusively for the DJI Matrice 400 enterprise drone. Developed for commercial, industrial, surveying, inspection, public safety, and BVLOS operations, it provides an additional level of flight safety by automatically deploying a parachute during critical flight emergencies.

Unlike universal aftermarket parachute systems, the DJI AP100 is fully optimized for the Matrice 400 platform, ensuring reliable operation, seamless integration, and minimal impact on normal flight performance. The intelligent onboard safety system continuously monitors flight conditions and automatically activates the parachute whenever a critical failure is detected. Manual deployment is also available when required by the pilot.

The integrated Flight Termination System (FTS) automatically stops the aircraft motors before parachute deployment, preventing the suspension lines from becoming entangled in the propellers and ensuring a safer, more controlled descent. Combined with its independent battery and dedicated control electronics, the AP100 remains operational even if the aircraft experiences a major electrical or flight controller failure.

Built for demanding enterprise environments, the AP100 features an IP55-rated enclosure that provides reliable operation in rain, dust, wind, and other challenging weather conditions. Supporting aircraft with a maximum take-off weight of up to 15.8 kg, it also assists operators in meeting European C5 and UK C5 operational requirements.
